Super focus matcha chai latte

The perfect start to the day if you want a little energy boost and greater focus.

Matcha green tea is bursting with antioxidants and a rare amino acid L-theanine, that has a calming effect on the mind whilst keeping you alert – ideal for a busy day when you have lots to do! This recipe makes one serving

Ingredients

  • ½ tsp matcha green tea powder – to keep you focused and alert yet calm
  • 1 tsp organic virgin coconut oil – for a Mind and energy boost
  • 4 drops Focus flower essence blend – helps to focus the mind when under pressure
  • ¼ tsp ground nutmeg – used in Ayurveda for focus and memory
  • ¼ tsp ground cardamom – promotes mental clarity
  • 300ml oat milk – with B vitamins for energy and stamina
  • 100 ml hot water – essential hydration
  • 1 tsp maple syrup – a natural mineral rich sweetener

Method

1 In a small saucepan, whisk the matcha green tea powder into the hot (not boiling) water.

2 Add the oat milk, nutmeg and cardamom, warm slowly, making sure not to boil. Whisk periodically.

3 When warm add the organic virgin coconut oil, maple syrup and Focus Flower Essence Blend then whisk vigorously to froth.
