These beauty balls are the perfect on-the-go snack when you need an energy boost.
Packed full of antioxidant, skin-loving goodness and slow release energy to keep you going all day long!
This recipe makes around 20 small balls.
Ingredients
1 cup almonds – a great source of protein & energy boosting
4 tsp chia seeds for healthy skin cells
4 tbl desiccated coconut – a source of good fats
4 tbl cacao powder – a good source of sulphur for beauty
4 tbl goji berries – rich in antioxidants
10 Medjool dates – add mineral-rich sweetness and fibre
1 tsp Organic Virgin Coconut Oil* – an instant energy boost
Method
1 Soak the almonds in water overnight, dry and grind in blender
2 De-pit and chop the dates roughly
3 Add all ingredients to your food processor and blend until smooth and sticky
4 Roll into any size balls you want and dust with cacao powder
These will keep for a week in the fridge – if they’re not eaten first!
